  The entire family of  Chief Dominic Onyenucheya Orji aka Domingo wish to use this medium to express our profound gratitude to HRH Eze Dr S.I Ibezim, the Evule Ukwu ll of Umuosu Ubakala Autonomous Community, the Evule Ukwu in council, all Umuosu Village Heads, all people of Umuosu Ubakala Autonomous Community, the Onye Echefule Ala Umuosu, the priests and members of St Dominic Catholic Church Laguru na Umuosu, relations, friends and well wishers who stood by us through prayers, phone calls,  text messages and financial support to commiserate with us during our painful and trying moment. REMEMBERING AN ICONIC POSTMASTER GENERAL LATE ABUBAKAR MUSA ARGUNGU 18 YEARS AFTER

  He might have passed on eighteen years ago, but the unending  memories about him may never fade. His face, doggedness, charisma, examplary character,  good intentions and disposition towards his staff may take the next generation to forget. He was a rare  personality who had left indelible footprints positively in the sand of times. Mallam Abubakar Musa Argungu, the late Postmaster General of the Federation and Chief Executive Officer of Nigerian Postal Service from June 2000 to 22nd October 2005, when the cruel cold hands of death snatched him away. He and his Personal Assistant on International Relations, Mr Stephen Eneware, were on board of the  Belview Airline flight 210, which crashed  at Lisa Igbore Village in Ogun state, killing all passengers on board. HRH Eze Hyacinth Nwabueze Ohazulike, the Eze Ndi Igbo, Lagos State, on Saturday 14th October,2023  marked his annual  new yam festival and 20th year on the throne . The event which  was held at No.102 Igwe Ohazulike Road, Faagba, Ifako Imade, Lagos attracted people of all walks of life who thronged the venue to witness the monarch celebrate this year new yam festival. Among those present were  traditional rulers of Ndi Igbo from across the state, Igbo leaders of thought and prominent Igbo sons and daughters resident in Lagos, as well as their well wishers, The  occasion was spiced with the display of masquerades and other cultural activities. Some of the highlights of the event were the symbolic  cutting of the new yam and conferment of chieftaincy titles on various persons in recognition of their roles in the promotion of Igbo culture and tradition, as well as their roles in making life more meaningful to Ndi Igbo in Lagos. UMUOSU VILLAGE HEAD LOSES WIFE

  Mrs Angelina Onyenaucheya Orji, the wife of the village head of Umulu village in Umuosu Ubakala Autonomous Community, is dead at the age of 66 years  She died on Sunday, 9th  of July, 2023, leaving behind her husband and seven children. Her husband, Chief Onyenaucheya Dominic Orji a.k.a. Domingo confirmed the development during a telephone chat with UbscopeNews. He revealed that she will be buried on 12th October, 2023. According to the burial arrangements made available by her family, there will be service of songs by St Dominic choirs at her husband compound, Umulu on 11th October, 2023. The funeral mass will be held at St Dominic Catholic Church, Laguru na Umuosu. After the funeral mass, her remains would be taken to her husband compound for interment. Entertainment of guests will follow.  This is a clarion call to all illustrious sons and daughters of Umuosu autonomous community to come to the aid of L.A Primary School that is in dire need of musical band and other facilities to aid teaching and learning in the school This request was made known to Ubscope News by the headmistress of LA Primary School ll, Mrs Chidinma Okechukwu during  the School 2022 Colour Day held at the school field on 6th April, 2022. Colour day is the primary school version of inter house sports associated with secondary school. The colour day which features events like sack race, egg race, niddle etc would have been livelier with musical band hence the need for it. L.A Primary school is our own. Like any other primary schools, it provides the foundation upon which the talents of our children may grow. HRH EZE (DR) SIMEON IBEZIM OFFERS FREE MEDICAL SERVICES TO HIS PEOPLE.

The first citizen of Umuosu autonomous community, HRH Eze (Dr) Simeon Iheonye Ibezim, the Evule Ukwu 11 of Umuosu Autonomous Community will celebrate his  64th birthday anniversary  on 4th April, 2022 To make the birthday anniversary a memorable one, HRH will be offering free medical services to hundreds of  people in Umuosu community and it's environ The exercise is scheduled to hold at Zims Model Health  Centre, Umuosu Ubakala on 4th April, 2022 from 8am to 3pm The initiative will involve medical, diagnosis and treatment, maternity services, lab investigations and couseling on health issues.  Patients will be educated and given treatment on various health challenges facing them. Speaking in a telephone  intetview, HRH said  the exercise  was aimed at   assiting the poor and other vulnerable persons particularly the aged and the children that are suffering from high blood pressure, diabetes, malaria and other health challenges. This is to inform all indigenes of Umuosu and Ubakala,  friends and well wishers that his HRH Eze Dr S.I Ibezim, the Evule Ukwu 11 of Umuosu Ubakala has received the official letter from the Executive Governor of Abia State, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu PhD, lifting the suspension order placed on him since April, 2021. The letter which was titled Lifting of Suspension of Eze Dr Ihonye Simeon Ibezim, the Traditional Ruler of Umuosu Autonomous Community Umuahia South and dated 8th March, 2022 was signed by Deconess J. C Nwaju (JP)  for the honourable commissioner of local government and chieftaincy affairs. This put to a final seal to the whole peace process. HRH EZE Dr. S.I. Ibezim and his TPM Chief M.
