PENCOM ONLINE PR-RETIREMENT VERIFICATION APPLICATION TAKES OFF 1ST SEPTEMBER


 The National Pension Commision's new online enrolment application for retirees and prospective retiree's yearly verification would go live today, 1st September 2021, the Director General, PENCOM Mrs Aisha Dahir Umat said.

The PENCOM boss in a statement stated that those ellgible for the exercise are employees of  Federal Goverment treasury funded Ministries, Department and Agencies who retired between January and August, this year.

Also eligible are those who are due to retire from this month and those who missed the enrolment in the previous years

The verification must be completed with the PFAs by October 29, 2021

The retirees could enrol  either through the Self Assissted option or pension Desk Officer,(PDO)/PFA option.

For the self Assisted option, retirees and prospective retirees for 2021 are required to visit pencom's website www.pencom.gov.ng to innitiate the online enrolment process. This is done by registering and capturing their  employment details as well as uploading scanned copies of the required documents, before proceeding to their pension Fund Administrator for physical verification and enrolment.

As regards pension Desk Officer (PDO) PFA Assisted, retirees /prospective retirees who are unable to complete the online registration for any reason could approach the PDO of their MDAs or visit their PFA for assistance.

The news of the death of Sir Micheal Uzoma Irom KSM, the Ezeji and  Agu N'Eche Mba1 of Nsirimo, came to many people that knew him as a big shock.
