Many hearts were broken on 27th December, 2020, when the news of the death of Deaconess Josephine Chidinma Anyanwu, the late President General, Umuada Ubakala (Women in Charity) and Managing Director/ CEO PassageGold group of companies, filtered in. It was a shocking news, so hard to believe. How wicked could death be? So wicked it could not spare AdaUkwu Ubakala.  She was too dear to many, she was a becon of hope, a precious Gem and huge asset not only to her family but to Ubakala in general. FG APPROVES PATERNITY LEAVE FOR CIVIL SERVANTS

 The Federal Executive Council, (FES) Presided over by Vice President, Yomi Oshibanjo had approved paternity leave for Federal Civil Servants in the country. The paternity leave is for men in the Federal Civil Sevice Briefing newsmen after Council meeting held at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, Head of Civil Service of the Federation, Dr. Folashade Yemi Esan explained that henceforth, male federal Civil Servants will be entittled to a 14 day paternity leave like their female counterparts. She said, this is to enable for proper bonding between the father and a new baby especially at the early stage of the child's life, which was hitherto enjoyed by only female civil servants. Dr. Yemi Esan, further explained that adopted babies of less than four months will also enjoy this gesture.
