UIU (F) ELECTIONS: ELDER GODWIN MBONU EMERGES ALAOCHA's CANDIDATE

Elder Godwin Mbonu has emerged as the Alaocha Ubakala's candidate for the fortcoming U.I.U (F) President General election.  Elder Mbonu emerged as Alaocha's consensus candidate  in  a shadow election organished by Alaocha Ubakala Development Union (F) to determine who of the two candidates  (Elder Godwin Mbonu  from Abam and Stanley Uche from Mgbarakuma) will be presented for the position of Presidentl General on August in the UIU (F) elections. It is important to state that Alaocha had zero the search for the candidate  to Mgbarakuma  and Abam communities ! the two communities in Alaocha that have not produced  President General of UIUF in the past.) Nigerian Postal Service (NIPOST) is a government  owned organization that is  responsible for providing  postal services in Nigeria. It has more than 13000 employee and operates  more than 3000 post offices across the country. The organization can be said to have passed through four eras since inception in 1985. These are Pre-Zome Era ( 1985-- 1989) , Zome/Bamigbele/Olukolu Era ( 1989-- 1999), Argungu/Mori Baba Era (1999--2016) and era of politicians being appointed as Postmaster General.   The current Patron  of  Abam Development Association, Lagos, Elder Godwin  Obioma Mbonu has declared his intension to vie for the position of  President General in the forth coming UIU (f,) election.  Elder Mbonu made the declaration during the April meeting of Alaocha Ubakala development Union, Lagos held on 13th April, 2025 He said that he is well suited to take on the responsiblies and duties  of the President General of Ubakala Improvement Union (F), adding that he possesses the skill, knowledge and experience to continue with the excellent work Elder Friday Ogbuehi's administration is leaving behind.  He promised if voted as President General in August, to entrench transparency, accountability, and democracy in his admistration, as well as attract development to Ubakala.  There is every indication that Elder Godwin Mbonu' s candidacy will get the full support of AUDU Lagos.  Mr Peter Ugbor, President of Alaocha Ubakala Development...

  HRH EZE  Sir  Dr Simeon Iheonye Ibezim KSC, the Evule Ukwu II of Umuosu Ubakala Autonomous Community is 66 years today, Friday, 4th April, 2025. To celebrate this highly celebral and cosmopolitan  monarch, we highlight ten of his notable achievements at 66. 1.) He has to his kitty the following Certificates and Degrees;  RHD, CHO, RCHPN, B.Sc, MPA and D.Sc which he garnered from the numerious higher institutions he attended  2.) He is a seasoned Administrator, who rose to the height of a Director Primary Health Care in the Anambra State Civil Service, before gracefully bowing out in retirement in 2014. 3.)
