FRENCH OPEN: DJOKOVIC BEAT NADAL AGAIN

 It was another cracker of a contest on Friday 11th June, 2021 as two legends world number one Novak Djokovic and Rafel Nadal locked horns for the 58th time in ATP March of the French open tennis.

Djokovic, who is eyeing his second title at the Rolad Garros, came back from being 0-5 down and losing the opening set to win the encounter 3-6,6-3,7-6,7-4, 6-2. By this Djokovic became the first ever player to beat Nadal on clay for the second time.The first instance took place in 2015,

The 34 years old Djokovic now leads Nadal 30-28 in over all head to head battle.

Djokovic is also eyeing to become the first player to win at least two tittles in each grand slam when he faces Tsitaipa on Sunday June 13. No player had won at least two tittles in each grand slam.

Nadal has only one Austria open tittle he won in 2009, Roger federal's sole glory in the French open came in the same year 2009, while Djokovic has also one French open tittle. If he wins against Tsitaipa on Sunday, he will have at least two tittles in each grand slam (19 over all)
