UNVEILLING SIR, ENGR KINGSLEY ASUOHA: THE LATEST KNIGHT OF ST JOHN'S INTERNATIONAL OF HOLY ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH



 

Sir, Engr Kingsley Asuoha, an engineer. enterpreeneur per excellence, a public servant, who has a rare penchant for successful adventure , quintessential family man, politician of conviction and philosopher king  was born some 49 years ago to the family of Pa Stephen Amigo of Umuako, Nsirimo, Ubakala 




He grew up in Umuako, Nsirimo and started his journey into western education at Umuako Primary School, Umuako, Nsirimo, where he had distinction in his First School Leaving Certificate Examination in 1983. He proceeded to Boys Secondary School, Nsirimo for his secondary school education, graduating in 1987 


In 1993, he was at Federal University of Technology, Owerri, where he studied Engineering and graduated with a Bachelor degree  in Engineering in 1996.

He capped it with Masters in Engineering from the same university in 1998.

He is a self made person and private sector driven individual with over a decade of superintending over enterprises, among which are; Chairman - kluchi Investment Ltd, CEO -  Maureek Table Water,   Executive Director-- Project water,  Director - Laudate Christabel International group of schools. He also runs a farm known as Asuoha Farms Ltd



He was a one time Director of Protocol, Umuahia South Local Government. He extended confidence and competence in running matters of the office. His relevant attributes were easily noticed by the Local Goverment Chairman, Hon Jerry Uzosike, who considered him a good hand as Chief of staff whose duties included planning, organizing, managing, directing and overseeing the day to day operations of the Chairman's office and staff

In 2017, Sir  Kingsley Asuoha,  was appointed Secretary of Umuahia South Local Goverment by Hon Obioma Ogbulafor.

In recognition of his immense contributions to the position of good governance and quality leadership in Umuahia South LG, he was awarded the Public Service Personality of the Year  Award by the Management Ubakalascope News in 2017. He was honoured along with Pharm Chidi Okorie (Distinguished Personality in the Public Service)  Sir Azubuike Okorie (Icon of Excellent Leadership), Barrister Chris Ekwomadu (Icon of Excellence in Ubakala)  HRH Eze S.I.Ibezim ( Ubakalascope Man of the Year)  High Chief Jeremiah Nwabugwu ( Life Time Achievement Award)


For him, the award was a well deserved honour, having proven his mattled as a worthy ambassador of Nsirimo Ubakala, contributing his quota to its development and also rendering service to the State through his enviable position as the Secretary of Umuahia  South LGA


He is also a consummate politician, a memeber of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in  Nsirimo ward and a stakeholder in Umuahia South Local Government

He is such a popular man, love and adored by so many people in his community and beyond. This is as a result of his  charisma, love, tolerance, genuine intension and disposition to others. He  does not claim to posses the monopoly of wisdom, he is very polite and unassuming, consults with his colleagues before decisions are taken. However does not suffer fools gladly, he  can be very blunt and candied when occasion calls for it.

He does not make or draw attention to himself, rather works assiduously and conscientiously to deliver on a given assignment. He is intelligent,  dedicated to duty, honest, sincere and a workerholic, runs an open door admistration. Very patient enough, seeing all that has come to see him in one matter or the other


He is a devoted practicing Christian known for his positive impact activities to humanity and fellow brethern in the Christendom. A Roman Catholic faithful, he is happily married  to Oluchi and they are blessed with lovely  children. He is a caring father to his family, showing them great love.

 

On 24th October, 2021, he was inducted as a knight of St John's international of Holy Roman Catholic Church,  Owerri

We in Ubscope News congratulate him on this Episcopal elevation. This is a great milestone in his life, for it means that he is now a full member of the Noble Ancient Order. More grace to him and his entire house hold IJN

They do this at every given opportunity. On 29th December, 2024, they repeated this when they rolled out the drums to appreciate God's for His goodness, faithfulness and mercy upon their marital life in the last 25 years.   Rev. ( Mrs) Olayinka Olusola Danso,  retired General Manager, National Mail Distribution Center, Shomolu is 63 years today. In a country where the average life expectancy is 54 and at a time longevity takes the grace of God, attaining such milestone in good health and sound mind is no mean feat and calls for thanksgiving and Celebration.
