ENGR. EZINNA OGBUOKIRI : AN EXAMPLARY OLD STUDENT (UBAKALA SECONDARY SCHOOL NSUKWE)/
When the history of sports development in Amibo, Ubakala is being written, we cannot but celebrate the immense contribution of Engr. Ezinna Ogbuokiri.
The Obizi born Electrical Engineer and sports enthusiant's contributions in the overrall sports in Amibo, Ubakala and Abia State remain remakable if not phenomenal.
He has been a regular sponsor of the Annual Amibo Inter Village Football League. His consistent sponsorship of the league has helped refocus youths of Amibo to channeling their talents and time to more productive usage. He also supports Ubakala Inter Community Football League financially.
His contributions to the growth of sports in Abia State has seen him nurtured so many teams among them is Abia Angels FC, which became the first team in the south east to play in the National Women Football League.
Engr Ezinna Ogbuokiri who is a member of the Governing Board Federal Girls Secondary School, Umuahia, donated trophies for the school's inter house sports in 2017. He equally supports Amibo Community Secondary School inter house sports financially.
In 2019, he planned to partner with some individuals in propagating the game of Chess and scrabble in secondary schools in Abia state, using Federal Government Girls College and Government College Umuahia for the game development, unfortunately the covid 19 plague disrupted the plan

It is worthy to note that he is a sport man himself. He is a Scrabble and Chess player of note and has represented his locality and Abia State at various competitions across the country like National Sports Festival, where he came back home with the prestigious Gold medal in the team event in one of the editions of the festival. He was part of the victorious team in the just concluded National Scrabble Division one Championship held in Abuja
Besides promoting sports, Engr. Ogbuokiri loves contributing to the well being of others and his community. He is a man who betrays a major trait of self made men who refuse to help others climb the ladder of progress. He has been extending his milk of kindness to any one that comes to him. His generiousity knows no bounds, His kindness is limitless and his love for the needy is exceptional.
Born in 1975 in Ubakala. He attended Amibo Primary School and Ubakala Secondary School, Nsukwe, where he passed his WASC Examination in flying colours. From there, he proceeded to Federal Polytechnic, Nekede, where he obtained his OND in Electrical Engineering and Rivers State Polytechnic for his HND. There after, he attended Engineering Institute of Technology, Austria, an online programme for his B.Sc in Electrical Engineering.

He has unrepentant love for his people Amibo and by extension Ubakala clan. He is an active member of Amibo Progressive Union, Port Harcourt. He is the current Secretary General of Barr. Chris Ezem led Amibo Progressive Union Federated.
He is a Christian of the Jehovah Witnesses' fath, He is married and blessed with four lovely children.

Engr. Ogbokiri, has always been on the look out for opportunity to bring out burning talent in the youth. In this regard he started penalty kicks competition in Amibo in 2013. According to him the idea was borned out of the fact that people usually treasure good goal scoring and goal keeping
While he was making effort in considering its expansion to cover the entire Ubakala, Abia state, Nigeria and even in the world, some one in Amibo due to obvious reasons stopped it at its fifth edition. He had already written to NFF and CAF for consideration, before it was unceremoniously stopped.
Engr. Ogbuokiri, was disappointed at this development because the competition had been a major source of entrenching happiness and good sportmanship in the youths of Amibo,

Not satify with his academic attainment, he further obtained a postgraduate diploma in Electrical Engineering- Power System option at Federal University of Science and Technology, Owerri. and M.Sc in Electrical Engineering from the same University.
He was employed by Shell (SPDC) when he was an HND student in 2001. He later moved to Total Nigerian Limited, Port Harcourt as an Electrical Engineer
He has unrepentant love for his people Amibo and by extension Ubakala clan. He is an active member of Amibo Progressive Union, Port Harcourt. He is the current Secretary General of Barr. Chris Ezem led Amibo Progressive Union Federated.
He is also an active member of Ubakala Boys Secondary, Old students Association. He played a prominent role during the maiden reunion of old students of the school tittled 'USSOSA Home Coming' held at the school play ground in December, 2016
