WAS CHIEF UWAOMA NZENWA NDUKUBA A TRAITOR IN SIR EBERE NWAEZE'S ADMINISTRATION ?



One thing about Chief Uwaoma Nzenwa Ndukuba is that he  is an embodiment of talents, vast and knowledgeable in many fields. Over the years he has been involved in the production of top quality chemical products like Rexo blue, Rexo  Vim,  Rexo Bleach,  Rexo Shampoo, Rexo Airfreshner, Rexo Habbic, Rexo Tabia and Rexo Paint (Tesco and Emusion).

His abiilty to bring concept to reality that benefit mankind even without the availability of high hi tech earned him a  chieftaincy tittle 'Dike ejeaganmba 1 of Alaocha Ubakala' from the late Ocha 1 of Alaocha Ubakala while he was just 22 years of age, thus making him the youngest chief ever in the recorded history of Ubakala.


Born on 3rd June, 1971 to the family of Mr and Mrs Joshua Nnanna Ndukuba. He attended Umuosu Primary School from 1977 -1983, Ubakala Secondary School, Nsukwe, 1983-1989 and Abia State University, Uturu, where he obtained a B.sc degree in Accounting in 1993.

Chief Uwaoma, has from tender age exhibited a high level of maturity and dexterity in the way and manner he does his things. Over the years, he has performed creditedly well in the various responsibilities he had been charged with.

As an apprentice he was a dedicated and committed person, no wonder his principal, Prince Osim Imemba tutored him well in  the various aspect of blue productions that when he left  Ubakala, he (Uwaoma) was able to  continue where he stopped. Today he stands tall as the Managing Director of his company Pun Manufacturing Company, which he saw through thick and thin, recession and boisterious economy. He has made mark  in the industry despite non availability of hi tech.

Besides chemical productions, Chief Uwaoma is also a  consummate politician and a stake holder  in the People's Democratic Paty (PDP) in Umuahia South Local Goverment  and a leader in Alaocha Ubakala ward A 




He joined partisan politics in 1999 and contested for the councillorship of Ubakala ward 'A' under ANPP and was allegedly  robbed of the victory because he did not belong to the ruling party. He was however compensated by the then Chairman of Umuahia South LG, Engr G.C Offor with the post of supervisory Councillor for Education

In 2003, he joined  the PDP and has held various positions both in the party and in Abia state state government.


He is equally a community leader. He is an active member of Ubakala improvement Union, He was Asst. Secretary General  Ubakala Clan Union,  (F) Asst Secretary General Ubakala improvement Union (F) Currently he is the  Secretary General Ubakala Improvement Union.(F) 


Chief Uwaoma has been accused of being a traitor by his collegues in the Sir Ebere Nwaeze led executive of UIU (f) because of the role he played during the infamous face off between Sir Ebere Nwaeze and some Power brokers in Ubakala, which led to a vote of no confidence being passed on Ebere Nwaeze and his executive


Sir Ebere Nwaeze had called for the cancellation of the meeting and the election which the Power brokers insisted  must hold. While Ebere Nwaeze and his executive stayed away, Chief Uwaoma, an active member of the executive did not only attend the meeeting he participated in the election and was elected Secretary General . This made Sir Ebere Nwaeze and his loyalists to call him a 'judas' in his Administration

All efforts to get Chief Uwaoma's comment on this  proved abortive. However those closed to him have come to his aid saying that he was not a judas in Sir Ebere Nwaeze's Administration, that any one in his shoes would do the same thing he did.

According to them Chief Uwaoma is a politician and a member of the PDP which these Power brokers belong to and  they are his senior collegues. "It would  have been a political misadventure  if he had supported  Sir Ebere Nwaeze  againsf his senior collegues in the PDP, the party where he makes his daily bread"


Secondly Chief Anthony Ukasanya, the principal Power broker, has been Chief Uwaoma's  political god father and mentor since 2003 he joined the PDP. Chief Uwaoma would not want to  offend him by supporting Ebere Nwaeze against his intetest.

AN IROKO HAS FALLEN IN NSIRIMO UBAKALA .

The news of the death of Sir Micheal Uzoma Irom KSM, the Ezeji and  Agu N'Eche Mba1 of Nsirimo, came to many people that knew him as a big shock. Sir Mike irom died on  Saturday, December,28, 2024  in U. S .A, He had gone there on vacation with his wife. It was during this period that he became sick and died.
