MRS CHIDINMA OKECHUKWU: A TEACHER WITH A DIFFERENCE
Mrs Chidinma Okechukwu, a hard working Headmistress of Umuosu Community Primary School II, has introduced brilliant innovations in the school to give the students all round development and growth. The seasoned teacher, who has taught in many schools before her appointment as Headmistress Umuosu Community Primary School II possesses strong sense of discipline, humility, transparency, honesty, civility towards the discharge of her administrative and intellectually impacting duties in the school.
Mrs Okechukwu, whose aim is to make the school a child friendly institution and hub for brilliant scholars, single handedly bought school band for morning assembly and other recreational activities with her personal money after she failed to get assistance from well meaning Umuosu people and successful old students of the school, whom she had approached for help to buy the band. She is an effective team player whose unique way of carrying her teachers along has resulted in an unflinched commitment and support towards ensuring her success.
She was born four and half decades ago to the family of Venerable D. C. Ahamba of Obiamwa, Umuamba, Nsirimo.
She attended Amaise Primary School, Umunba, Nsirimo, where she sat and passed her First School Leaving Certificate Examination and Isingwu Comprehensive Secondary School, where she obtained her West African Senior School Certificate.
She went further to attended Teachers Training College, (TTC) Uzoakoli and Enugu State University, Enugu, where she bagged Grade 11 Teachers' Certificate and B. ED in Education Administration and Counselling respectively.
She is married to Mr. Ihediuwa Solomon, an immigration Officer from Umuzuala, Nsukwe, Ubakala and they are blessed with children.
