MEET NNAMDI OKWUADIGBO, THE ICAN's 55th PRESIDENT



Mazi Nnamdi Okwuadigbo is a professional Accountant/Consultant with over thirty years experience  in Auditing, Accounting, Financial Reporting, Taxation,Debt Recovery, Financial Management, Portfolio Management, and Management Consulting within the public and private sector.

He was born on 17th September, 1950. He hails from Amibo Ubakala Umuahia, Abia State. He attended Zik Institute of Commerce, Onitsha and the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, where he graduated with a second class upper division in Accounting in 1977.

He commenced his professional career at Copper and  Ldybrand  ( Chartered Accountants) where he garnered requisite professional training between 1978 and 1981. He qualified as an associate  of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria in 1981 and became a Fellow in 1987.  He had been a member of ICAN Governing  Council since 2007, serving in various committee and capacities either as chairman, vice chairman or member


He is a Fellow Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria, (FCTI) Fellow Nigerian Institute of Management (FNIM) andp Associate member Business Recovery and insolvancy Practitioners Association of Nigeria (BRIPAN) He is a former member of Council of the Nigeria Accounting Standard Board ( NASB) now Financial Reporting Council of  Nigeria (FRCN)



Mazi  Okwuadigbo had worked  in Union Bank ( former Baclays Bank,) 1972-73, Ministry of Finance 1978-79. Gearhart Nig. Limited, (an Oil Serving Company) 1982 -8

He is the founder and Managing Partner of Nnamdi Okwuadigbo and co  ( Chartered Accountants) founded in 1984


He has many awards to his credit from Rotary international and University of Nigeria Alumni.



He was appointed the 55th President of Institute Chartered Accountantsof Nigeria (ICAN) on 3rd June 2019. Before the appointment, he was the immediate president of institution 


He is married to Mrs Chinoyerem i
 Okwuadigbo and they are blessed with a son, Mr Chibueze E Okwuadigbo.


A devout christian,  Mazi Mnamdi Okwuadigbo is  very firm, honest, easy going, courageous  and unassuming personality 😉

GLAMOUR AS JOHN AND JULIE NWADIGHOGHA MARK 25TH WEDDING ANNIVERSARY

Nwachinemere 1 of Ubakala, High Chief, Sir (Dr) John Nwadighogha KSM and his beautiful wife, Lady Julie Nwadighogha are one great couple who are consistent in showing appreciation to God for His favour upon them. They do this at every given opportunity. On 29th December, 2024, they repeated this when they rolled out the drums to appreciate God's for His goodness, faithfulness and mercy upon their marital life in the last 25 years.   Rev. ( Mrs) Olayinka Olusola Danso,  retired General Manager, National Mail Distribution Center, Shomolu is 63 years today. In a country where the average life expectancy is 54 and at a time longevity takes the grace of God, attaining such milestone in good health and sound mind is no mean feat and calls for thanksgiving and Celebration.
