REV (MRS) DANSO: 63 YEARS OF GOD's GOODNESS .





 

Rev. ( Mrs) Olayinka Olusola Danso,  retired General Manager, National Mail Distribution Center, Shomolu is 63 years today.

In a country where the average life expectancy is 54 and at a time longevity takes the grace of God, attaining such milestone in good health and sound mind is no mean feat and calls for thanksgiving and Celebration.

As she marks her 63rd birthday, the prayer on the lips of her admirers all ovet the country is that the good Lord  should grant her more years, in addition to good health and sound mind to enable her continue to inspire people in her life. 


Indeed she is a jolly good fellow, an icon, a mentor, a leader of leaders, 
a loving, caring and amiable wife and mother, a  role model and other roles i have not been able to find words for.  A woman of honor and outstanding qualities, misunderstood but yet admired by the same people who claimed to have hated her guts.  she is someone who is truly worthy of emulation. Some one who always has words of advice, guidance and encouragement whenever you engage her.

A brilliant teacher and glowing woman of valour, a thoroughbred Administrator,  who without blemish, served her country meritoriously, attaining the position of Deputy Director (HRM) in the Nigerian Postal Service before gracefully bowing out in retirement in August 2021


During her days in the service of Nigerian Postal Service, she was a household name in the organization and  one of the most powerful individuals. 

Her personal attribute of diligence, hardwork, commitment to duty, confidence, strong moral compass and boldness to speak the truth on any subject no matter whose ox is goored stood her out of the crowd, making her a source of inspiration to many. 


Infact the history of Nigerian Postal Service cannot be meaningfuliy  written  without some chapters dedicated to her

She joined the service of  Nigerian Postal Service in 1990 as a Personnel Officer 11  on grade level 08. She rose steadily through the ranks and was promoted to the  rank of Deputy Director (HRM) on grade level 16 on 1. 1. 2017. She held various positions in the organization, transversing many territories before her last appointment as General Manager, National Mail  Distribution Center (NMDC)  Shomolu.

Other positions she held during her sojourn  in the Nigerian Postal Service, which spanned 32 years include : 

Prin. Personnel offr, Lagos Island Territory 

Senior Manager Admin,  Lagos Mainland Territory

Senior Manager Admin,  NMDC, Shomolu

Area Postal Manager,    Plateau Territory 

Area Postal Manager,    Rivers Territory, 

District Postal Manager, Festac District.

District Postal Manager, Shomolu District

General Manager, NMDC, Shomolu

She distinguished herself very well in piloting the affairs of these offices to the admiration of the Top Management that appointed her 





When she retired from service in 2021, her pen down party was the biggest in NIPOST. It was witnessed by big guns in NIPOST from Abuja, Benin, Ibadan and Lagos. It was a really  big and massive farewell party. 

An alumna of University of Lagos, where she had her Bachelor's and Master's degrees, She is a member of many professional bodies, such as  Institute of Personnel Management,  Chartered Institute of Personnel Management,  Nigerian Institute of  Management to mention but few. And in  recognition of  her management capabilities and Administrative astuteness as outstanding,  the then Institute of Personnel Management  bestowed on her the professional honour of Fellow of the institute.


She has been a good wife to her husband, Mr Abayomi Danso, since 14th December, 1982, they got engaged and a good mother to their  only son, Boluwatife Danso, the same goodness which she has extended to the vineyard of God. She is  ordained as a Reverend  and a dedicated member of  Latter Glory Envagelical Ministries, where she serves  as a Minister of God. 


The story of Rev (Mrs)  Olayinka Olusola Danso is the story of success achieved through God's goodness, faithfulness and mercy in her life. And as she celebrates this milestone  today, i wish her abundant happiness and blessings and pray God to continue to preserve her in good health and sound mind, abundant prosperity and longevity to enable her to continue to serve God and humanity..

GLAMOUR AS JOHN AND JULIE NWADIGHOGHA MARK 25TH WEDDING ANNIVERSARY
