FAMILIES OF UMUIME 8 ANNOUNCE BURIAL DATES AND ARRANGEMENTS



From  Febuary 28, 2025, Umuime village in Umuosu Ubakala autonomous community will be a hive of activity as the burial of its  kinsmen who died during the second half of last year takes center stage

It is partinent to state that  Umuime village lost 8 of its citizens to the cold hands of death due to various illness during this period and their corpses are still lying in the mortuaries, awaiting burial

The families of the  deceased  recently announced their burial dates and arrangements as follows: 



The remains of late Mrs Joanah Chidiadi Ekwueme will be laid to rest on Friday, February 28, 2025 at her husband's compound, after funeral service to be conducted by the Anglican Chapel, Umuosu at L.A Primary.
Late Mrs Ekwueme, aged 74, is survived by children and grandchildren 

                 Elder Mark Ogbuehi 

Next is Late Elder Mark Ogbuehi aka dee Otagba. He will be committed to mother earth on  March 6, 2025 at his compoud, Umuolota Umuime.  Late Elder Ogbuehi, who was late Godfrey Ogbuehi's uncle is survived by wife and children.

                 
Late Mrs  Binta Enwerekowe, who died on October 1st, 2024 will be buried on March 13, 2024 at her father's compound. 

Late Binta  Enwerekowe, who is the daughter of late Johnny Enwerekowe, (the Dibia) is survived by two children 

          Sir Chukwunma Felix Mark

The following day, Sir Felix Chukwunma Mark's burial will take the center stage. According to the burial arrangements made available by his family, There will be Service of Song on  Wednesday, 12th March, 2025, Funeral service will hold on Friday, 14h March, 2025  at Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Apumiri, Ubakala and interment follows immediately at his compound, Umuogboo Umuime

Four days after, it will be the turn of Simeon Emelike's wife, Mrs Joy Oluchi Emelike, who died in Lagos. she will be buried at her husband compound on 18th March, 2025.

Mrs Emelike is survived by her husband, Simeon Emelike and children


              Mrs Amechi Young ogbonna 

Mrs Veronica Amechi Young Ogbonna, wife of late Elder Young Ogbonna, who died in Lagos on 29th Decembe, 2024,  will be buried at her husband compound on 20th March, 2025.

Late Mrs Amechi Young Ogbonna is survived by children and grand children among them are Chidinma Ogbonna, Uche Young Ogbonna.

The burial dates of Late  Nwabure Iroanaya James and Elder Odemegwu Uchegbu, 
who also died last year are yet be announced by their families.
