NIPOST DELTA STATE: MRS UWAJE RETIRES FROM SERVICE

The Principal Secretary attached to the General Post Office, Asaba, Mrs Gladys Uwaje,  has bowed out of service after clocking the mandatory retirement age of 60 years and after 34 years of meritorious service. Before she commenced  her pre retirement leave, staff of the Human Resources Management Unit  of  Nigerian Postal Service, Delta Territory, had organised a farewell ceremony for  her. The event,  which  had all the staff but one  in attendance, saw the head of the Unit, Mrs  Nkem Nwagwunor, pouring encoumiun on her.  She described her as a secretary like no other, a very hard working, dedicated and committed staff.  "Madam Uwaje, we admire and respect how hard you have worked  in the course of your career. CHIEF MOSES EKWUEME FOR BURIAL JANUARY 6TH

The funeral rites for Chief Moses Ekwueme, the late Village head of Umuokwuru village in Umuosu Ubakala Autonomous Community will commence on 5th January 2025 Chief Moses Ekwueme, the Okwuru 1 of Umuokwuru village, who died on 18th October, 2024 will be buried on 6th January, 2024. He was aged 91 years According to the burial arrangements made available by the family of the deceased, the Wake keep will take place on 5th January, 2025, at his compound in Umuokwuru, Umuosu Ubakala Autonomous Community  The remains of the late village head will be  interred on 6th January, 2025 in his Umuokwuru, Umuosu Ubakala hometown,  immediately after the Church service. REV. NNAMDI ANOSIKE BAGS DOCTORATE DEGREE

Few weeks after he celebrated his 62nd birthday, Reverend Nnamdi P. Anosike,  is on the news again and also for good reason. He was on 2nd November, 2024 conferred  with an honorary Doctorate Degree in Theology by the Present Truth Bible Seminary Inc, Lagos Nigeria. He was honoured alongside  four other Ministers of God The conferment ceremony, which was part of the activities marking the institution's convocation ceremony,  took place at the school premises  in Lagos. As a result of this, the Snr Pastor of the Holy Ghost Intervention Ministries is now to be addressed as Reverend (Dr)  Nnamdi P. Anosike. LADY LILIAN CHINYEREUGO IHEME BOWS OUT OF NIPOST GRACEFULLY

Everything that has a beginning hs an end. This is life, but what is pertinent is the impact or mark one makes on the sands of time  For Lady Lilian Chinyereugo Iheme, her sojourn in the  Nigerian Postal Service, which began on 12th July,1992 came to an end on 29th October, 2024, when she retired from service, having reached the compulsory retirement age of 60 years and after putting on 32 meritorious  years of service. The  beauty of the memorable end is that she  left enduring legacies in all the offices she served during her years of service in NIPOST. Known for her Intellectual Excellence, in addition  to virtues like uprightness, objectivity, intergrity, selflessness, thoroughness and accountability.  Her dedication, loyalty to NIPOST and sense of commitment to any assigment she embarks on  are legendary and worthy of emulation.
