SUNDAY ASHALEYE NIPOST DELTA STATE PPMO SIGNS OFF
Mr Sunday Adegoke Ashaleye, Chief Technical Officer, Nigerian Postal Service, Delta State retires from service to day.
He is retiring after attaining the mandatory retirement age of 60 years and after spending 34 years and four months of meritorious service.
He is undoubtedly one of the most dedicated, hardworking, loyal and commited PPMOs that the territory/state has had. Dogged, resilient, tenacious, courageous and unassuming personality. He is really pleasant to be around with. He is friendly, cheerful and kind, and he never argues or causes a fuss. He approaches his job with every sense of responsibility.
Born on 14th February, 1965, he started his career in the Nigerian Postal Service on 16th October, 1990 as a Driver. He rose steadily through the ranks and was promoted to the rank of Chief Technical Officer on GL 14. with effect from 1st January, 2024.
He was posted to DeltaTerritory as Principal Project Maintenance Officer (PPMO) in 2012, He took over from Mr Suleiman Babatunde. During his stay in Delta Territory/State which spanned over twelve years, he worked with three Area Postal Managers, Mrs A.O Adeniyi, Mr Babatunde Ajayi and Kwandora, one District Postal Manager, Lady Lillian Iheme and one State Postal Manager, Mr Payrick Mogholu
Mr Sunday Adegoke Ashaleye, has distinguished himself very well in piloting the affairs of the office of the PPMO in DeltaTerritory/ State and deserves to be celebrated by all and sundry as a way to encourage the young ones to do more in moving the organization forward. Anything short of this is a great disservice to NIPOST. Unfortunately, management of NIPOST Delta State is not seeing it in this way. No send off ceremony for Sumday Adegoke Ashaleye, after over three decades of unblemished service. He will be in the office today, to do the formal handing over to his succesor. after, he will leave the organization quietly as he came. No pat on the back, no thank you for a job well done. What a shame!
Mr Sunday Ashaleye should be celebrated for he is a jolly good fellow. If management did not honour him, his friends, colleagues and NIPOST staff both those still in service and those retired reading this post should drop a comment, wishing him happy birthday and retirement. He will appreciate it.
On our part, we congratulate him for retiring in good health and sound mind. As he begins the next phase of life, we pray that the Almighty God should grant him good health, long life and prosperity. Life has two sides. The good and the bad. May he always taste the good side of life.
Sunday Ashaleye you are welcome to the Senior Citizens' League
