Blessing Jane Asibe, who is popularly known as Amaka for her role in the Super Story series 'Enough is Enough', is  a  talented actress who has made a name for herself in the Nollywood  industry 

She is a versatile actress, who has played a wide variety of roles.

She is creative  and talented  in acting and interpretation of movies roles and can fit in any character given to her

She hails from  Umuosu, Ubakala Umuahia, Abia State but was born  and grew up in  Sapele, Delta State, where she had her primary and secondary education.

She is the second child of the family of six. Her father, late Pa Isreal  Innocent Awo Asibe a k a De Izy, was a retired civil servant before he passed on  in 2015. Her mother is a business woman.

After completing her secondary education, she proceeded to Delta State University and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Admistration.

She started her acting career with Wale Adenuga's Super Story, where she played the role of Amaka in one of the series, 'Enough is Enough'.  The role that  brought her to lime light

She later crossed over to Nollywood and  has acted in more than 40 movies which include Jealous lovers 1&2, Women in Love 1&2, Village Destroyers 1&2, Trumpet of Death 1&2, Executive Decision, Destiny's Challenge, Trinity 1&2, Taste of Sin 1&2, Without Apology 2, 100%,Husband 1&2, Joshua 1&2, Scorned, The Access Code, A Night with Her and many others

Apart from acting, she is also a writer and producer. She is the writer and producer of the movie 'Scorned'. She is equally the CEO and founder of Divine Global Entertaiment.

She was given an award in 2009 by the Afican Youths  Society, as role model of the generation.

The Nollywood star in a chat with Guardian Life Magazine said that  her role model was Joke Silva. ''I see her as a mother in all spheres of life and as a force to reckon with."

On a good ground, she loves eba and ogbono soup but because of her weight she now goes on light food. Instead of eba, she eats agidi and more fish and vegetables and whole lots of water

Ms Asibe,  whose favourite designer is Givenchy, said she can wear anything,  even baggy jeans but cannot sag her trousers for any reason

Her signature scents is 'irresistable couture' by Givenchy. She also loves 'Dune' by Christian Dior and "Escada"by Estilalda

When asked what she would do If given a chance to change something in Nigeria, She replied "I will change the system of governance by removing the sycophants in power"
