UBAKALA IMPROVEMENT UNION IN LAGOS CELEBRATES CULTURAL DAY / PARTY DECEMBER 20


 Members of Ubakala improvement Union, Lagos will celebrate this year Cultural Day  with pomp and pageantry like never before 

The event which will take place on Saturday, 20th December, 2021 at no 1 Osonwa drive by Nwachukwu drive, opposite Atinuke plaza, Okota, is expected  to attract large number of members of Ubakala improvement Union, Lagos and  their family.

According to the  Mr Culumba Nduaguiibe, President of the Union. the event promises to be  fun packed to make members and their family have a swell time. To add colour and splendour, Ubakala Cutltural troupe will be on hand to welcome and  entertain members.

The news of the death of Sir Micheal Uzoma Irom KSM, the Ezeji and  Agu N'Eche Mba1 of Nsirimo, came to many people that knew him as a big shock. Nwachinemere 1 of Ubakala, High Chief, Sir (Dr) John Nwadighogha KSM and his beautiful wife, Lady Julie Nwadighogha are one great couple who are consistent in showing appreciation to God for His favour upon them. They do this at every given opportunity. On 29th December, 2024, they repeated this when they rolled out the drums to appreciate God's for His goodness, faithfulness and mercy upon their marital life in the last 25 years. The event which began with Thanksgiving Mass at St Nicholas Catholic Church, Nsukwe / Umuogo was followed with a reception of guests at Dr John Nwadighogha's residence,  Umunibom, Umuogo Ubakala Their friends and loved ones, who have been privileged to observe  their successful marriage story,  described  the attainment  of such milestone as worthy of celebration.   Rev. ( Mrs) Olayinka Olusola Danso,  retired General Manager, National Mail Distribution Center, Shomolu is 63 years today. In a country where the average life expectancy is 54 and at a time longevity takes the grace of God, attaining such milestone in good health and sound mind is no mean feat and calls for thanksgiving and Celebration.
