HIGH CHIEF (MRS) ENYIOMA FRANCIS GETS TOP CHIEFTANCY TITLE





One major highlight of the coronation anniversary of HRH Eze (Prof)  C.A Ucheaga Phd, the Enyi II of Laguru Autonomous Community,  held on 27th December, 2024 was the conferrement of chieftancy titles on deserved persons from within and outside Laguru autonomous community.




Among those conferred with chieftaincy titles, was High Chief (Mrs) Fidel Enyioma Francis  (nee Nelson)  an illustrious daughter of Umuosu Ubakala, based in U.S.A with her family.

She was honoured with a beffiting chieftancy title of Ugoejiejemba 1 of Laguru in recognition of her benevolence and humanitarian contributions towards Laguru people. She was also presented with the distinguished award of Excellence as Stainless Lady of Laguru by HRH, who equally showered her with praise.




The  honour bestowed upon her  during the anniversary came as no surprise to those who know  her.


She is a philanthropist per excellence, who never thinks twice before  meeting any genuine needs  requested of her. Beyond massive contributions in cash to various causes, she is known to get personally involved in various women (especially the widows) empowerment projects

Communities in Ubakala especially  Umuosu, Laguru and Amibo have her foot prints because she contributes generously to matters concerning them.

During the covid-19 total lockdown, she provided  Umuosu people with different kinds of palliatives.

She equally donated  the sum of two million naira in 2020,  for  the renovation of the dilapidated and abandoned Okwurulevo Hall in Umuosu 



According to one of her admirers at the venue, "Chief Enyioma Francis  deserves to be celebrated by all especially the less privileged who benefit most from her generosity and deep benevolence. She is a woman who holds the love of humanity close to her heart, one who hates to see any person suffer. Her unwavering commitment to improving the welfare of the widows, indigent students and the less privileged in the society is truely commendable and set her apart as a role model"

From where she sat, surrounded  by her supporters and admirers,  she attracted glances from all and sundry as she was the cynosure of all eyes at the venue.
And when she was invited to receive her title, a loud ovation of approval had greeted her, as she and her suporters, who danced and sang in her praise, made their way to the podium, where  HRH Eze  Ucheaga and some traditional rulers, including Eze Onyemachi were sitting 


Conferring the title on her, HRH commended her for her deep benevolence and philanthropic contributions towards Laguru people which he said earned her the title. He urged her to continue to impact and improve the lives of the people of the community.


Earlier, HRH Eze Ucheaga had presented her with an  award of Excellence as the Stainless Lady of Laguru, in recognision of her contribution to the service of God, humanity and the community at large.

Responding, High Chief (Mrs) Fidel Enyioma Francis commended the monarch for the honour done her and assured that she would continue to do more for the benefit of Ndi Ubakala home and in Diaspora 

High Chief Fidel Enyioma Francis is also a Chief of Umuosu Ubakala and holds the title "Adadiohama 1 of Umuosu" She was conferred with the title by HRH Eze (Dr) S.I Ibezim, the Evule Ukwu 11 of Umuosu in 2022




The recent title conferred on her by HRH Eze G.A Ucheaga automatically elevated her to the status of a High Chief title holder, having been honoured with two or more Chieftancy titles.


she is a proud daughter of Umuosu community. from Umuamadi village. She is happily married and despite marrying outside her clan, Ubakala, she loves identifying  with her people, always eager to support community development initiatives. 
She holds a B.sc degree in Marketing, PGD in Business Administration and DSPR in Health Administration
