The first citizen of Umuosu autonomous community, HRH Eze (Dr) Simeon Iheonye Ibezim, the Evule Ukwu 11 of Umuosu Autonomous Community will celebrate his  64th birthday anniversary  on 4th April, 2022 To make the birthday anniversary a memorable one, HRH will be offering free medical services to hundreds of  people in Umuosu community and it's environ The exercise is scheduled to hold at Zims Model Health  Centre, Umuosu Ubakala on 4th April, 2022 from 8am to 3pm The initiative will involve medical, diagnosis and treatment, maternity services, lab investigations and couseling on health issues.  Patients will be educated and given treatment on various health challenges facing them. This is to inform all indigenes of Umuosu and Ubakala,  friends and well wishers that his HRH Eze Dr S.I Ibezim, the Evule Ukwu 11 of Umuosu Ubakala has received the official letter from the Executive Governor of Abia State, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu PhD, lifting the suspension order placed on him since April, 2021. The letter which was titled Lifting of Suspension of Eze Dr Ihonye Simeon Ibezim, the Traditional Ruler of Umuosu Autonomous Community Umuahia South and dated 8th March, 2022 was signed by Deconess J. One of the most revered royal fathers in Umuabia, the Ubah 111 of Ubakala, HRH Eze Pharm. Rapheal Mbagwo has joined his ancestors  He died after a brief illness at the age of 93 years He was the 3rd and propably the last UBA of Ubakala. According to the constitution of many communities in Ubakala, in the event of the death  of a traditional ruler, the traditional prime minister automatically becomes the person to oversee  the affairs of the community until a new traditional ruler is elected. It is only where both the traditional ruler and traditional prime minister are not in place that the idea of a regent comes in. When the late HRH Eze  Abraham Chijindu Onyeonoro was coronated Ogo Ukwu 11 of Umuogo on 16th August, 2013, there was a tradional prime minister in the person of Chief Ikechi Nwadighoha, who was installed the Ogo 11 of Umuogo (that is the tittle for a traditional prime minister in Umuogo) on the same day. Ubakala Secondary School is the foremost indigenous secondary in Ubakala. It was established in 1979 by members of Ubakala improvement Union. According to the first indigenuos Principal of the school, Sir Jeremiah Chukwuma Nwabugwu, the intension of the founders of the school was, and still is to raise people who would learn to succeed in navigating the murky waters of life. This aim, he said is enshrined in  the motto of the school "To learn to succeed" The school started as boys secondary school. and  became a mixed school, boys and girls some years later.
