  The embattled traditional ruler of Laguru Autonomous Community, HRH Eze Professor C. A Ucheaga has disclosed that he knew from the onset  that Justice Chido Nnamani of Umuahia High Court would not grant his request to stay the execution of the Court's judgement which removed him as the traditional ruler of Laguru Autonomous community,  HRH stated that he lost confidence in the judge's neutrality following the manner  he handled the original trial of the case, Despite knowing that the presiding judge was biassed in the treatment of the case, HRH Eze Ucheaga explained that he had approached the court for the stay of execution of the judgement,  because the rule states that Application for a Stay of Execution of the judgement must be made first from the court which heard the original trial of the case. Talk about  one past  President General of Ubakala improvement Union (F) that has been  honoured with many awards, laurels and recognisions since he left office, the name of Pharm. Chidi Okorie, will readily come to mind.   The Umuogo born pharmacist was elected President General of the union in August 2007 at the age of 37, making him the youngest president general ever in Ubakala.   The mortal remains of Late Chief Nneoma Blessing Ekwueme, will be laid to rest in her husband's compound, Umuokwuru village, Umuosu Ubakala Autonomous Community on 29th December 2023. She was aged 84 years Late Chief Nneoma Ekwueme was the wife of Chief Moses Ekwueme, the village head of Umuokwuru, Umuosu Ubakala Her interment will follow a funeral service at L. A Primary School Umuosu, Ubakala. .
