  The 21-year-old undergraduate of the University of Lagos, Chidinma, who was accused of killing the Chief Executive Officer of Super TV,  Usifo Ataga , has narrated how she stabbed the deceased in the Lekki area of Lagos State. Chidinma disclosed this at the headquarters of the Lagos State Police Command on Thursday after she was paraded as a suspect by the state Commissioner of Police, Hakeem Odumosu. The Commissioner of Police disclosed that the suspect was apprehended at her parent’s residence in the Yaba area of the state on Wednesday night, The 300-level student of Mass Communication disclosed that she had been in a relationship with Ataga for about four months before the ugly incident. Chidinma said she and Ataga were “having fun” when an argument broke out and she stabbed him twice. She said,  “We were in the lodge smoking. He was trying to make advances on me.   The Nigerian Pension Commision has come out with detailed processes on the online verification and enrollment, including an elaborations of the role of the prospective retirees, MDAs and PFAs respectively. The commision made this known in a release titled Pencom Automates the Pre -retirement Verification Enrolment Exercise part 2, posted on their Facebook page. According to the release, the online Verification and Enrolment Exercise requires prospective retirees to under go three (3) stages i.e Registration, Verification and Enrolment.  Commenting on the  Registration, the commision said in other to ease the process for prospective retirees, two registration options have been provided_ the self service option and the PFA assisted registration. Nollywood actress, Eucheria Anunobi has reveled that her father refused to train her beyond high school because she was a female child. The Actress narrated this in a post she shared via her Instagram while celebrating her recently acquired P HD degree. Narrating her ordeal Anunobi said. she is “still in awe of God”. “He changes destinies in a twinkling of an eye. He is the rule breaker. He doesn’t need any one’s permission to bless someone.   In the early 70s Ubakala seemed to be the only clan in Umuahia that did not have a notable secondary school. While Umuopara could boast of Williams Memorial Grammar School and Adanma Girls, Ohuhu with Isingwu Communiity Secondary School, Olokoro with Santa Cruz, Ibeku with Ibeku Grammar School, even old Umuahia has Evangel High School. A sixty two year old man collapsed in a first generation bank in Asaba on sighting his purposted obituary and fake death certificate pressented by his wife to the bank in order to withdraw his retirement benefits estimated at N5.8 million, which she had earlier absconded with it. The National Pension Commission (PenCom) has announced  that it would soon begin digital verification and enrolment of prospective retirees in the South-South. Anyim Nyerere, a top official of the Commission, made this known at the end of a two-day training of 60 Pension Desk Officers (PDOs) in Port Harcourt. Mr Nyerere said that the verification and enrolment would begin after the pension desk officers had been adequately trained on the operation of the Online Enrolment Application (OEA). “In all, this exercise will equip them [pension desk officers] with the requisite knowledge on how the Retiree Registration Module (RRM) operates for the smooth implementation of the OEA,” he said.  When Ahamefule Ntukogu, a  seventen year old apprentice mechanic bid good night to his uncle with whom he was staying on the night of 3rd June, 2021, little did the uncle know that, that would be the last he would hear from him.
