 The remains of Chief Chukwuemeka  Madumere, the Ulu 1 of Umulu, Umuosu Ubakala were laid laid  to rest  2:10 pm, today, Friday 30th September, 2021 at his compound Umulu, Umuosu Ubakala. He was aged 72 years. Chief Chukwuemeka Madumere, who was the first Village Head of Umulu Village died on Tuesday 15th June, 2021. His interment followed a Church service conducted by Full Faith Gospel Church,  Umuosu. He was sutvived by wife and Children May his soul rest in Peace. Amen

  Mr Columba Nduaguibe is the current President of Ubakala Improvement Union, Lagos. He took over from Mr. Chimezie Nzenwa, who declined to  go for a second term on personal grounds.  The Traditional Ruler of Laguru Autonomous Community,  HRH Eze (Dr) C.A Ucheaga has slammed an indefinite suspension  on Chief Paul 'Poshed' Ukomadu, the Village Head of Orie Village over alleged gross insubordination, flagrant disrespect and disobedience to the stool and authority of Enyi of Laguru.  The suspension was contained in  a letter written and signed by the royal father, Eze (Dr.) Cyril Ucheaga and addressed to the embattled Village Head.  Dr Ucheaga said that Chief  Ukomadu was suspended following his refusal to appear before  the hearing of a case brought against  him by Mr. Chinedu Esiwoko, the interim Chairman of Orie Village Union. It is no longer news that HRH Eze (Dr)  Cyril Amaechi Ucheaga has been confirmed by the State Government as the Traditional Ruler of Laguru Autonomous Community and that he has been coronated as Enyi 11 of Laguru Community.   The Ugochukwu Uchegbu led faction of Umulu Village Union  has announced the suspension of  13 members and loyalists of  rival factional Union in Umulu, in what look like a case of  vendetta. The suspension was contained in a letter signed by the Chairman and Secretary of the Union, Messrs Ugochukwu Uchegbu and Nchekwube Shedrack, which was addressed to the Chairman of OEAU Home conference and copied Chief Anthony Ukasanya, Charles Ekwueme, Chairman Ogamibe Union and Umuta village Union.
